Common breach charges
Breach of bail conditions
Violating any condition in a bail order — such as a no-contact order, curfew, or reporting requirement — is a separate criminal offence.
Fail to comply with a release order
Failing to comply with conditions in a court-issued release order. Similar to breach of bail but applies to different types of release documents.
Breach of probation
Violating conditions of a probation order can result in the probation being revoked and a jail sentence imposed.
Breach of a prohibition order
Violating a court-issued prohibition order, such as a weapons prohibition or driving prohibition.
